Amongst the other treasures we have @thegreenestate.bsky.social is Sheffield Manor Lodge built by Bess Hardwick and George Talbot. It is now a heritage and nature visitor centre! Looking beautiful in the spring sunshine today!

Reflecting @naturenorth.bsky.social Investment Strategy launch. Takeaways for me: 1. We need ‘all hands on deck’ 2.There is a connection between security for people and security of nature 3. My generation needs to open doors for the next generation @katefoxwriter75.bsky.social was brilliant too!

Little glimmer of ☀️ at @thegreenestate.bsky.social much needed after weeks of miserable (news matching) grey, cold, windy weather. Love the magical sun shining through our Food Forest entrance archway! 💚

I was so engrossed in the dialogue and collaboration at @yhclimate.bsky.social commissioners meeting today, totally forgot to take photos. It was an excellent session! Thank you to the core team and to the 100+ people who have consistently shown up in the last few years. Gives me hope!

My beautiful office in the recent snow in middle of #Sheffield Yes #Sheffield the 4th biggest city in the U.K.! Snow is a double edge sword for us. Looks lovely but stops play! We can’t lift our meadow turf and do all our usual landscaping jobs in the snow. Can catch up with training and admin tho!

This paper on engaging people in the aesthetics of #NatureRecovery is really important. Something we have learnt in 21 years of engaging local communities with urban Pictorial Meadows.
