-(myself included), but the anxiety of an audience definitely changes the vibe. also the few people who just cant keep their mouth shut about things can make it incredibly frustrating as well. im really glad that you got to enjoy the DLC at least because that is easily one of my favourite bits.

I’ve thought about a private server too but have heard there’s a few drawbacks + uncertainty if they’d continue to stay up so will probably just wait for the official one to get updated. Although, I have heard if you want the “classic era” FFXI experience, private servers are great for that
