if anyone ever wonders why im very lukewarm about my negative opinions on unimportant things (ie video games), just remember that ive been a sonic fan for my entire life it doesnt happen much anymore, but there was a point in time where the franchise was considered shit and it suuuucked

Claire ♡♪!? @citisstreets.bsky.social · 17/09/2026

ive been (mostly) playing these games while trying to preserve how they were intended to be played. there are few exceptions, like save states and the rereleases of the ogs that remove the 10 minute time limit... so with that said, shadow the hedgehog,

those are Satoshi Okano artworks!!! very much was the basis for Yuji Uekawa going full Sonic Adventure mode once the game's key art came out for sure

i wish i could find proper credits for who did the character art for the sonic 3d blast jp manual. they look like yuji uekawa's style but theyre never placed in fan-made compilations of his work & google search sucks for finding info

i havent gotten through every game yet, but i figure id put up my little tier list so far modern games are there bc ive played them recently/often enough that i know my opinions on them. otherwise outside of heroes ive only played classics in the marathon

been having a sonic marathon of sorts with my partner (started in order, began skipping around a tad) and finally played sonic heroes for the first time i can understand why people arent a fan of that one

a painting of a lower camera angle of a shiny thievul (albiet highly stylized), emolga, and corviknight in a cave system adorned by gemstones.
the thievul is walking on two legs while the emolga and corviknight are flying above him.
