Pennants, Caps, and Hockey Sticks - Gotta love the early 80s.

@indycarcards.bsky.social Do you have the 92 Legends of Indy cards? I came across some, and they are looking for a new home.

It only took 3 years to get my first redemption card from Panini. I wonder on what day between 2023 and now Molitor actually signed this card???

Possibly the best theater ever. Friday night was a good night to watch a movie.

Movie night at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City watching Field of Dreams on the scoreboard.

Agree with both of these players.

Had this once. I'd rather fly to the east coast vs. paying that much for that little.

A relatively clean race, plenty of lead changes and the closest finish in history. Almost perfect.

Went to the Royals game, mowed the yard, and now just finished watching the 500. The day started and ended strong with a little productivity in between. Royals win and a fantastic 500 finish.

I love it when posts lead me down another rabbit hole. I was aware of Mears and Ward but I didn’t realize Johnny Rutherford was actually born in Kansas.

Two recent card shows (McPherson and Lee’s Summit) led to a couple of new Brett’s and some HOFer’s for the 1971 Topps set build.

I use the drawing feature to make the insert the correct size (or as close as I can get). Then print it on standard paper. They cases are smaller than PSA slabs. I put them in Ultra Pro Graded Sleeves now, but Zion makes a perfect fit sleeve.

That's what I'm calling it. I'm looking forward to next Monday and the home opener at Kauffman Stadium.

Royals417 @royals417.bsky.social · 26/03/2026

Thanks. Yes, the case is the Zion MagPro. It is crystal clear and this will be my go-to case for displaying cards instead of graded slabs. I made the insert using Google Docs. I put the card info on the front and when/where/how much on the back.

It took many years to find the right one for the right price, but one of my most sought after cards is now in my collection. The trifecta (Topps, Topps Mini and OPC) is now complete.

1975 O-Pee-Chee George Brett rookie card.

Earlier this month, the Rangers installed a statue in their concourse that had previously been removed from public display over concerns about the racism. @davyandrewsdavy.bsky.social on the statue's history, the Ranger whose likeness it bears, and the team's decision not to grapple with either.

Kmart sets were great. The 82 AL and NL MVPs are still my favorite.

$2 Junk Wax find at an antique mall. I definitely wouldn’t call it an antique, but it has Tony Pena on the front for the PC.

Currently going through 90s Royals cards to complete team sets. There are so many different sets from the era, many of which I have some cards, but I don’t remember a thing about them. Now to find the miss g ones.

Sometimes I think I am the only fan of the horizontal card. Finished my 1956 set a couple of years ago. Working on 1971 now. After that, my choices are down to 55, 60, or 70. Good luck.
