a general PSA from an indie developer: if you don't like the theme or aesthetic of a game, please DO NOT leave a 1-star review over it! you can actually move on with your life and forget about it! the moment you realize This Game Is Not For You, you can leave!!!!!

A 1-star review on itch.io made 43 days ago, saying: "If you don't like christian religions stay away. I, myself hate christian themes so I cannot recommend this VN."

🔞diversity win! student intern from exploitative sex tourism island advocates for pleasuring the clit

Cropped screenshot of the text log from NUKITASHI. Rei stands in the foreground in a revealing white uniform. A female student rides a male student's dick in the background.
Rei says: "You there! Not even bothering to lick the nipple while you're getting a handjob, are you!? Let's see you using that tongue properly and pleasuring your partner! And you! Don't go thinking penetration alone is enough to satisfy your partner! You'd best be gently rubbing up against that clit while you're thrusting in and out!"

harry agreeing that he's cuno's pig gives a +1 advantage to cutting the noose off the corpse, because he wants so badly to belong to someone, even this will do

Cropped screenshot of Disco Elysium.

Left pop-up text says:
PHYSICAL INSTRUMENT: 7
VERY HIGH
97%
+1 Agreement with Cuno.
This is a Red Check.
It can not be retried.
Two ones always loses. Two sixes always wins.

Right sidebar text says:
YOU - "Yes, I'm Cuno's pig. I agree."
CUNO - "You are," he says with calm certainty. "This pig is Cuno's."
VOLITION [Medium: Success] - Being Cuno's pig has a steadying effect on your hand. Go with the flow, man...
1. "Yes, I'm Cuno's pig. I agree."
2. Look for a good spot to cut.

⚠️ gross warning ⚠️ does anybody else think the autopsy scene in disco elysium is erotically charged in its prose the intimacy harry experiences with the hanged man is a maelstrom of pathetic, loving, and physically gross. he can pet his hair gently and touch his dick too

A screenshot of Harry du Bois performing an autopsy in Disco Elysium.

Text says:
THE HANGED MAN - A black trickle of liquid runs into his throat from the wound...
YOU - Put your finger in.
THE HANGED MAN - Your index fits right in there. A tight tunnel of flesh opens up -- tissue damage -- wide enough for two fingers. As you push both in, you reach through his mouth, right into his brain stem.

this steam review i read while browsing for VNs. bro just needed to find auto mode

First for some positives; I quite enjoyed the artwork and the music. On the flip side, the storytelling felt extremely tedious, especially as you are fed a little bit at a time in broken up pieces/sentences and you have to keep spam-clicking to read more - but if you click too many times, you may miss something. I almost didn't make it past the intro because of this design decision. I didn't particularly care for the story as a
