How do yall handle sprite sizes in VNs, especially if you want to be able to zoom in on them? Defining a "default zoom" transform and using that 90% of the time i show a sprite is so annoying but idk what a better solution would be

I was locked in so hard ironing out the final kinks in Unring The Bell's point and click system that i was almost late to work 😩 But it's finally looking the way I want! I have a couple more new pieces of dialogue to write, and then it's just editing (and a whoooole lot of art)

150

Kiri 💌🌐 Busy Devving @kirigayapnk.bsky.social · 07/01/2026

Edited a bit of the Unring The Bell script~ Hoping to get the revamped chapter 1 out soon. Will have the new inventory system we worked on during stream, point and click functionality, edited (and new) dialogue, and updated art 🙏

Kiri 💌🌐 Busy Devving @kirigayapnk.bsky.social · 06/01/2026

I keep sitting down with the intention to write dialogue and instead I add something new to the scripting, but I can't even be mad cause it just looks better and better

You can tell im autistic because I've had genuine brainstorming sessions trying to come up with gameplay that adequately gets across the uncanny feeling of actively using context to decide how to act in mundane scenarios.
