Ross Phillips @rossphillips.bsky.social · 23/07/2026Can anyone recall the name of a 2D animated short, came probably 5 years ago, about a chinese family that goes to a wedding in Europe, possibly Italy. The drawing style was deliberately naive. Almost definitely would have been shown at Annecy 100

Ross Phillips @rossphillips.bsky.social · 28/04/2026which i suppose is what happens when you're toiling in the same soil. But this was after scouring various logo databases for anything remotely similar. But of course you can never truly be certain an idea hasn't been done before. 000
Ross Phillips @rossphillips.bsky.social · 28/04/2026I am very sympathetic though when these things are accidental. I happened to me very recently. After resdesigning a logo for a well-known chicken shop in Manchester (lol), the new logo was about to go to print when the owner discovered an almost identical logo on another chicken shop 3 miles away 100
Ross Phillips @rossphillips.bsky.social · 28/04/2026as time passes it gets harder and harder to do something original in the logo world, but there at least 100 logos that are so famous you just know you should never go there 110

Well that was becuase everytime i held the sneeze i was creating micro-tears in the old esophagus. So now I give in to the raw power of the dad sneeze (despite being childless) 220

Ross Phillips @rossphillips.bsky.social · 31/07/2025Blender help! i'm a novice, but how to get get an objec to have 'flat' shading? I'm using the eevee renderer, and i'd like the tap on the left to look more like the one on the right eg no shading or lighting (i'm not saying i want the 3D tap to be 2D btw, purely talking about the shading here) 100
