Also, bloody hell, I’ve shipped 20 episodes of Into the MoTaverse.

Rosie Sherry @rosiesherry.com · 04/06/2026

I had a really good chat with Dan Faulkner, CEO of SmartBear, on the latest Into the MoTaverse podcast. Going into the conversation, I was curious to see how a CEO thinks about leading with quality and AI whilst also having the responsibility of building a new product in the software testing space.

2026 is a good year to do a Product Hunt launch of the MoTaverse. Would you believe that I've never launched my own thing there? Kinda funny, considering all the things of helping support so many other launches for other indie hackers and startups. www.producthunt.com/products/min...

I will soon enter my 6th year of writing at Rosieland...and I still only feel like I'm getting started.

Boom! It's out there. That's 799 posts published.

I’m not sure any SEND parent can watch this without getting emotional and upset. Honestly, we’ve found it easier not to go through it…opting to home educate without any support feels like an easier way to live.

Imagine there was a "Minister of Employment" who tracks that you attend work. And continually shames you. Monitors you. And then they fine you for not attending, because you took a holiday, or had some kind of life need or emergency. It's ok for kids, but not for adults? Wild.

Minister warns parents on school attendance ahead of new term.

It comes as data first seen by the BBC reveals more than half of pupils who missed some of the first week went were more likely to become persistently absent.

The very early days of Rosieland. It was just a single web page with a list of resources. It doesn't matter what you start with. What matters is starting and then continuing to showup.

My pandemic exercise habit just hit 500 (strength training) workouts. That’s roughly 100 workouts a year. Roughly one every 3 days. As I like to say, just keep going.

I'm feeling in a really good place about my community work. It has nothing to do with the number of subscribers. Or how much money I'm (not) making from it. It's more a sense of creative output. I've never had such ease and flow with creating. It all feels easy and enjoyable. No stress here!

My 10 yr old got these books as a birthday present yesterday. She started reading them as soon as her party was over, at 5pm. She had read them both by midnight. 874 pages! She’ll likely re-read these at least 10 times too. She blows my mind.
