Any game that comes out could be, and likely is some people's first ever video game, and thus, they can't just use years of experience to just figure it out. Nobody starts out just knowing how to play video games. And I've come to appreciate that fact with my nephew learning how to play them

But of course, video games back then DID tell you what the controls were. It was in the manual. But a new one I realised in recent years - most gamers don't think about the fact that they are relying on past experiences to Intuit how to play a game. But that doesn't help a new gamer.
