Wages of unionized workers are 13% higher than their nonunion counterparts. But unions also set a higher pay standard that all workers enjoy. In high-union-density states, median household income is $12,000 higher than in low-union-density states. This is why unions are vital.

I recently deleted my Facebook and Instagram profiles. At some point, the anxiety exceeded the joy with them. The social and environmental disasters surrounding tech billionaires are remarkable, not to mention the social and economic inequality generated in the process. No regrets, what so ever.

What I like most about this UK school of humanism is that it is based on realism, the philosophy of real people living in a real world and not a fantasy one.
