Rodrigo Sánchez @rorysan.bsky.social · 08/07/2026AI multiplies whatever you can do. You just produce more, but bad code scales way harder (quality software with AI still takes time and care, you still have to course correct and architect a good solution). Shitty code with AI is free, so yes, software quality is bound to go down the drain 000
Rodrigo Sánchez @rorysan.bsky.social · 29/06/2026I agree 100%. I've found myself investing heavily on architectural tests to keep my agents in line. Complexity, modularity and dependency enforced locally and by CI pipelines so AI knows where and what to touch. I'm sleeping better than ever lately 😅 130

Rodrigo Sánchez @rorysan.bsky.social · 03/04/2026I always wonder how is it possible that such a rich country doesn't provide universal healthcare. We solved that in Europe decades ago! Having to pay for ambulances, operations or a doctor's visit is baffling, and your politicians come up with first grade BS to justify it 😕. I hope it gets better. 100

Rodrigo Sánchez @rorysan.bsky.social · 24/03/2026It's happening to me (i don't "hand code" nearly as much), but I still need to steer agents a lot to provide an initial skeleton of testing setup and helpers so they have good examples to reproduce, otherwise the write really weird stuff 😅 010

Rodrigo Sánchez @rorysan.bsky.social · 08/03/2026You are in for a treat!! Transitioning to a functional mindset takes a while to click, but once it does... You will not go back. Rodrigo Sánchez @rorysan.bsky.social · 13/05/2025At first inthought the point of the approval test of the gilded rose was to compare to the legacy output, but in your vending machine example you manually add cases... Which makes sense, but I'm confused by a Conjured item existing beforhand. I'm inclined to modify it, I'd appreciate your input 010
Rodrigo Sánchez @rorysan.bsky.social · 13/05/2025I meant approval test, not acceptance, but the question stands... Or is the idea to modify the Conjured cake on the test once implemented? Thanks for your help. 000
Rodrigo Sánchez @rorysan.bsky.social · 12/05/2025Hello @emilybache.com, I'm a bit confused by the Conjured Mana Cake: in the acceptance tests it acts like a normal item: quality decreases by 1 per day. Shouldn't it be double? The test would not pass initially tho, only after implementing the conjured item logic... #gildedrose #fsharp 100
