Wedding went great. Couple were incredibly happy all around and a night I've been dreading for around a year is over. Yay!

If something goes wrong on your end, you just blew up all those plans and now everyone hates you and you ruined someones (a lot of peoples) special day. That anxiety sits in the front of my head until people are dancing and having a good time. Thankfully, at least thus far, today's gone well.

DJ'ing a wedding is such a roller coaster of emotions. On the one hand you get to meet two strangers on their happiest day that they've been stressfully planning for months or longer. Everyone's in a great mood and you provide entertainment and keep things on schedule/ the rails. On the other hand..

I'm no physics major but the fulcrum seems easier to manipulate with the thiccer sticks, so huge upside. Down side is RIP my heads and cymbals

Last show I asked @gunderslam.bsky.social to get me drumsticks. I was in the midst of a pay toll so I was only half paying attention and typed 2B instead of my usual 5B sticks. For those unaware 2b are THICC bois. But I got them so I figured might as well use them and mannnnn blast beats are easier

Sorry (not sorry) for being annoying with reposts but it was recently brought to my attention that I/GG don't do enough to promote, support & showcase artists. Henceforth, I am going to be very loudly, unapologetically shilling for all our albums & album collaborators. 🤙🏻💕 You've been warned.

Nice!!! Ive heard so many good things about the game and after *finally* playing cyberpunk this past year I'm willing to go all in. I did not expect to love CP as much as I did. A modern masterpiece

Thanks for the heads up! Im still finishing up persona 5 but that was my next in line. I tried the Witcher 3 a few years ago, but just wasn't in the right mood for it so I don't even think I got past the first quest. Ive been excited for the remaster but ill hold off a bit longer

Thats a very succinct way of putting it! I find my self a fan of their albums for small patches because I get kinda exhausted listening to either the super technical shreddy wizardry, the trap drums, or in this case the heavy heavy bass. I always kind of ending up saying "ok I get it" to something

Roqdrummer @roqdrummer.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

Here to tell you this album will fuck hard

130

Roqdrummer @roqdrummer.bsky.social · 25/09/2026

I love everything ive heard from this new albums but the drums and its driving me insane. Clay is doing so much intricate, beautiful, amazing work that serves the songs so well, but I just wish they didn't all sound like trap drums *alll* the time. With that said this song is great.

Moments of truth. Just got to the vet. Lil guy has been acting a little better but I'm still terrified I know what the outcomes gonna be. God, I hope I'm wrong.

Roqdrummer @roqdrummer.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

Thanks for the love and messages yall, a bit of an update. Wed is his Vet visit and we'll have to make a decision with them on whats the best route. He was unable to breathe through his nose last night but has been better today. Hopefully theres a path to recovery but well see.

Yeah, hopefully it makes west, bit gen, stock and labs more attractive!

010

Roqdrummer @roqdrummer.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Hopefully the quick sell out pushes more people to BITgen to see some acts they might only see there or MAG super. Or MAG stock or hell even make magwest more attractive as an option.

Roqdrummer @roqdrummer.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Enjoying random misc things that you can only find at MAG at that time for example: finding hallway DJ's and bands you might otherwise ignore cause you have actual organized things to do during the day or stumbling into MAGFast doing every megaman ever.

Roqdrummer @roqdrummer.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Also, just to put my two cents in being from the area. You absolutely want to keep MAG at the gaylord. Moving it would kill the Ethos of the event I imagine. I get that its moved as its grown but a lot of my favorite MAG memories are way past 2 AM making new friends and

Roqdrummer @roqdrummer.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

From my experience at awesome con it, I think people would not be a fan of the lay out. Itd make the music side of things a lot tougher imo. I only went once more than 5 years ago, but the stacked layout is just kinda perfect for MAG. At least imo

Roqdrummer @roqdrummer.bsky.social · 18/09/2026

Mag selling out in 5 hours is fucking WILD but it really does prove how big VGM and gaming in general has become. Happy to see it. Hope all the performers have amazing crowds and have an amazing time. Ill be experiencing fomo and watching on stream
