I know! I’ve suggested two this past month…first time I’ve ever done so…and they’re getting them both!

I asked my local library to purchase this book. And they agreed and I’m first on the hold list. But now, especially since I’ve started reading his Villager, I wish I had just ordered a copy for myself.

Hoping that the “fewer whites voting” reflects Republicans who are sickened by what their party is like and staying home.

My parents were both great readers and one of the times I miss them most is when I finish a book and think “Gee, Mom would love this book” or “I wish Lolly could read this mystery.” I think my Mom would have loved your writing.

I’m not a great reviewer of books. But this seems to me to be a quiet book (so far, at least…I’m on page 83) that will stick with me after I finish. I’m savoring it.

Oooh, the old public library in Charlottesville VA had glass floors in the stacks like this. (I could go into that building blind-folded - if it hadn't been drastically changed inside - and lead you directly to where the PG Wodehouse books were shelved.)
