A gift for @mariofm2003.bsky.social, in memory of his Dad who passed away. Since these characters are based on plushies his Dad gave him, to comfort him after his Mom passed, it felt full circle to do an art piece, with those characters, to comfort him again. Rest in peace.

Yeah got a response from the care team a week ago that everything is fine. Imaging matches up with how things should look after surgery and treatment. That ER team gave me a panic attack. Now it's just wait another two months for updates.

So sending those reports to my surgeon for reading. What probably added to the stress was waiting in my oncologist office for THREE hours, and there was no AC. What I hate the most is the waiting time has increased...from one hour.

My oncologist sent me to the ER yesterday because of my heart rate and shortness of breath. Had testing done, no blood clots or pneumonia. But whoever read the radiology report may not be entirely familiar with how imaging can look after surgery. So I am hoping I don't have new growths.

I already know how week I am at this moment, and remembered how weak I was from my first surgery 2 years ago. I'm down 18 pounds from June, and it's hard to eat or put any kind of calories in me. The medication really messes me up. It also makes painful blister callouses all over my feet and hands.

What is really stressing me out most is thinking about even with being on a leave, if coming back, if I will still have insurance since they have some hours worked requirements they audit every six months, and if I will have the strength to keep things up to balance them.

Not going to lie, I am feeling super overwhelmed with things. I am going to have my second cancer surgery in Maryland near the end of the month, and all the planning is so much to deal with. I will be out of work for nearly 3 months to fully heal. It is the help I really needed.

my mom once blaming again for losing her previous job because she took time off for my first cancer surgery 2 years ago. And now she is mad at me for having to get a second surgery. I come home and depression hits hard. Guilt tripped into getting subscriptions back. I was getting rid of streaming stuff for a reason. Gotta work a long shift tomorrow. It's getting hard to do just anything anymore. I just want to sleep, and rest.
