My son tried a drag bunt last night in our game and I have to say, I was pretty proud… He fouled it off and went on to walk, but he actually did it pretty well! Saw 3B was way back. Squared late. Just didn’t get it between the lines.

I got to watch my son pitch in a baseball game for the first time today and it was awesome. No coaching him while he was out there, just encouragement. He was scared going into the game - he’s the youngest kid on the team - but he got out there and did the damn thing. Top 5 dad moment for sure.

Our little league is putting a big emphasis on all bats being USA Baseball certified this year. Suggested they have a day where players bring their bats and they get a sticker that denotes it meets requirements. Easy for umpires/coaches to identify at a distance. Any leagues doing similar?
