Forgot to post it, it bumped down my packing time for a holiday. Should have taken shortcuts but instead I had less sleep
A truly sickening amount of grape juice, juiced under duress, with a strange type of yeast used under cold conditionsGrape jar A, approx reading for specific gravity is 1.33 on the enormous grape juice unitA smaller 1.27 reading on the grape and blueberry vessel done while extremely sleepy last week, I really hope this turns out drinkable

Yeast is in, it’s a little cold but we’re holding around 1.096 at two measures, there’s a lot of fruit pulp in the way. Off to the races

Time for a new brew, this one is set honey, lotus flower, and blueberries. Give or take 1.5kg of honey and 800g of blueberries.
Another vat of shimmering red and purple liquid, full to the gills with sugars ready to become tasty wine

Swapped everything over now, it’s a nice orange colour now. Doubt it’s gotten significantly stronger but the sweetness has become a nice dry finish so that’s a plus

This is stronger than 5% but I did only get to around 1.03sg. Maybe I shouldn’t have primed the bottles with as much carbonation sugars…. Oh well. It’s missing something but I can’t put my finger on what.

And for when I forget, this is starting around 1.053 sg, and I’m aiming to finish around 1.01 sg ish, so a little over 5%. Wish me luck, it’s hot as hell here and I may have used too much maltodextrose

Oh yeah, I forgot, I’m brewing again. This time it’s meant to be Helles lager, not quite sure what to make of it yet but I think it’ll be strong. The top blew off once when I was pitching the yeast and sprayed foam everywhere at like midnight, but it’s calmed the passion a skosh now
A giant metal vat of thick dark ooze with foam on top, bubbling menacingly Brown foamy liquid pouring into a giant white funnel with large chunks of crystallised sugar catching in a trap filterA beer fermenter that blew its top and threw foam everywhere because I added too much yeast nutrients and it’s pretty hot here, wearing a jacket and with a hose airlock, sitting on top of a fan

I made beer last week when the weather started turning better, it’s a porter that’s meant to have a tinge of sweetness to it. Starting gravity was around 1.153 Ending gravity was around 1.129 That gives about…. 3.2% alcohol Looks like it’s a light dark beer hahaha

Forgot to throw these in last time, this thing is gonna be a weapon. Bochet #1 is looking at 1.14 sg Bochet #2 is slightly less at 1.139 sg It’s bubbling away nicely for the moment ✋😌👌

Grapes have so much sugar in them like woah. Forgot to photograph it but the end levels were about 1.005~ on these Full Juice wine 1.08 -> 1.005 = 10% Half Juice wine 1.063 -> 1.005 = 7.7%
Cloudy grape juice with a gravity meter reading 1.081 for sugar contentStandard gravity reading inside more grape juice reading 1.063

Here’s all my stats i can remember. Mead 1 - Shiny Red: 1.06 -> 1.004 = 7.35% Mead 2 - Brick Red 1.043 -> 1.004 = 5.2% That was before the infusion and back sweetening, which had around 250ml of maple syrup into it
Specific gravity measurement at start for mead 1, quite high at 1.60Specific gravity reading at beginning for mead 2, at a lower 1.42, and a duller colour.Specific gravity reading at end for mead 1, looking to be 1.04, with visible growth of yeast within the bottle. Standard end stage messSpecific gravity reading at end for mead 2, at the same 1.04, much less yeast splashback, reasonable from the less sweet beginning

So I put an entire melon into each bottle this time. Then lemon and lime juice, because they were on sale. Absolutely no idea what’s happening here, I’m hoping if I leave them another month they’ll drop out

This stuff has clarified so well, swapped it into a clean jug and left it alone for around a month. It’s looking like a nice rich red, but I’ve mostly forgotten what’s in it at this point. Wanna say passionfruit and cranberries infusion at the end, with some maple syrup
Two large glass jars filled with a dark red liquid which some people would say counts as wine even if there aren’t any grapes in it, who are me i am those people, hello

Getting into my mad scientist era
Four large glass containers, 2 appear to be filled with multicoloured seeds giving an overall red colour & have hoses connecting to the neck with red liquid creeping up the tubes, and 2 appear sickly green with plastic airlocks bubbling frantically. This does not appear overly appetising, even though these will become some form of wine
