Twenty years of the most annoying discourse ever for a design of Megatron that sucks. I hope we get a Missing Link Tank Megatron out of sheer spite at this point. I’ll do my best to gaslight people into thinking it’s the actual G1 toy.

Just watched one called “Mama” on Tubi, I think. It’s about a grandma werewolf, surprisingly solid as a movie. Goosebumps is always good for a laugh, too; all those episodes are free on YouTube.

I’m glad you liked the video! I’ve always loved the team, I just wish they got the spotlight more. I’d love one arc in Skybound where it’s just the six of them causing trouble for the Autobots.

Really weird thing just happened at the presidential press conference. JD Vance just showed up and said something like, “Trump has fallen! That makes me the new leader!” and then he turned into a jet

Here I was, hopeful that an article like this might point out some of the issues with much of older movies, from child endangerment to racism to animal death to the proliferation of violence against women. Nah. He just thinks practical effects aren’t shiny anymore. Give me a fucking break.

I mean, I’d rather a CG dog than an actual dog getting traumatized or even killed on set. Anything that can be done by studios to stomp out film’s long history of animal cruelty, I’m fine with.

I still need to read Batgirls! I’ve loved Cass since I was a kid, and Stephanie’s always been great. I’m just glad the Bat-Family have all been able to come back and get great stories again.

The Universal Monsters are always good, as are the Hammer ones. Halloween, Friday the 13th, and Nightmare on Elm Street. I also love Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, and Day of the Dead.

I hate than Ron Friedman had to fight tooth and nail against GROWN MEN to include one woman character in the series. It reminds me of the same BS Mattel people pulled on She-Ra. I have people in the comments of my videos that practically blame the downfall of western civilization on Prime Arcee.

110

RonBonDujon @ronbondujon.bsky.social · 08/06/2025

Animated turned her into a Sleeping Beauty/Florence Nightingale trope. 3rd Party has a constant race to the bottom to see who can make the most pathetic attempt at being “sexy”. This is a character that has been targeted time and time again by these same types, and I hate it.

110

RonBonDujon @ronbondujon.bsky.social · 08/06/2025

Arcee breaks my heart every single day. She is a character that has always been defined by her gender identity, and insecure weirdos will shit on her every step of the way. Furman used her to take pot-shots at feminism. Later one made her IDW turn even more tasteless.
