Text in a group chat that made it clear that the teacher who went to a new school isn't that keen on me, which I already suspected. Lots of people are paying tribute to Dolly Parton today and, like so many other people, I grew up listening to her - watching her on the Grand Ole Opry with Porter Wagoner. Listening to albums with my dad. She was always proudly herself, and I think we all know how hard that can be.

Yesterday I went to a sunflower festival and spent about 2 hours carrying buckets (without handles) of water and sunflowers in my arms and all of the muscles in my back and shoulders have lodged a very serious (and painful) campaign against it.
