Andy Robertson on the Overlap described the feeling that the club in the wake of Diogo’s death, in particular that the returning players had lost their edge and it made it really hard on the newer players to settle. Think we need to really heed the “everyone gets a clean slate” approach.

Just want to take a moment to give thanks and tribute to Howie Rose. The New York Mets have been a constant in my life since my first real engagement with them as a kid in the mid 1980s. Howie has been the soundtrack for so much of that.

Feel like the discussion of Lamine Camara on Twitter is massive that even with all his activity in the game vs PSG, this is what it looks like for Monaco. Doesn’t look like PSG has much trouble getting what they wanted. Individual stats taken outside a team wide context can totally mislead.

I got into this a bit in my column last week but I think social platforms' extreme push toward sales, slop and outrage has done a lot to degrade people's attitudes toward tech, even if they're still using them and still buying. People feeling compelled to do things that feel bad breeds resentment!

Araujo. Every game since Aug 2021. - Excellent 1 v 1. - Dominant aerials by Spanish league standards - Fewer than 15 90s at RB. - Experienced but not old. Think he is about as good as we could have got as a short term solution with possible upside.
