A movie theater seating chart for a small theater (approximately 70 seats). There's 2 seats reserved: mine at E5 and one other person in E4. These seats are "together" in that they're separated by an armrest that can be lifted.

I'm going to flex a bit again and see Project Hail Mary on 70mm IMAX again Two reasons 1. Because its beautiful on the full screen 2. Because I can go to 1 of the 15 places in the world that has it in that format

A still from the movie "Project Hail Mary". This shows the planet Erid from about mid planet out to the rings. It's in tones of blues and greens with the rings getting brighter the farther away from the planet they are.

A detail is that this is just off vertical instead of showing them horizontal, as most ringed planets are. The cinematographer decided to do flares and other things vertically instead of the more common horizontal. Unless you know it, you don't realize what's different from so many other space movies.

The aerodynamics of a cow. The worst places are between the ears, followed by the front shoulders. Overall they're split between pretty aerodynamic and unaffected by airflow.

It looks like they would enjoy a breezy day.

This should give the true difference between "filmed for IMAX" and "filmed on IMAX cameras" The square aspect ratio means letterboxes, and that means losing parts of the movie I dont know if digital IMAX suffers from this or not. I'd guess not since they're more accessible

Comparing 70mm film IMAX to a "standard screen". IMAX 70mm is a square aspect ratio so there's some big letterbox bars to fit it to a standard movie size. A guess is that there's a totally picture loss of at least 10% both top and bottom.

A very quick and bad trace of the full frontal of Ser Arlan. The part in question is, well, impressive in all ways. The phrase "like a horse" would not be inappropriate. His knee is getting perilously close to making the acquaintance of that piece of anatomy. He's showing it off with a stance of shoulders back, hips forward.

Someone took the time to tag every character death in the books. I did read the entire series, to date, and dont recommend people do that I wouldn't call it grimdark. Warhammer 40K is grimdark. I call it more of a slog

5 stacked books (4 large trade paperbacks, 1 hardcover) with colored tags on pages. Theres dozens of tags in each book. It seems that there's more tags in every successive book.

Proof! These are turrets (mostly) and the bases are approximately 15mm square. They designer calls them SMOL Tanks and they are indeed smol Once the silver & gold are done its touchup time then sorting them into groups for their bright colors

A variety of small tank turrets. They're primer white with silver and gold painted. There's a wet palette at the top (currently dry) with a lot of dried paint on it.

If youre really into details there's a bottle of Monument white paint in the upper left corner and 1/4 view of my eyeglasses with clip on magnifier in the lower right corner.

I took a class on making cake pops. I found out: 1: I don't like making cake pops 2: I'm not good at making cake pops They're ugly but they're still cake pops. And I'll never make them again

Some rather pathetic cake pops. Some fell off the stick while dipping. Some stuck to others in the difficult to use stand so there's coating transfer and bare spots. The drizzle effect is more of a "well, i guess they tried" level on what's supposed to be candy corn. I didnt indent the ridges on the pumpkins deep enough so they filled in with chocolate to be lumpy balls. There's some squares that are the starting shape youre supposed to roll etc but I'd given up by then and square is a shape.

A (well composed, if I do say so myself) of puffy clouds and blue sky over farm fields with trees in the distance. The composition is a bit off the 1/3 rule with the field taking less than 1/4 of the space but the clouds were too good not to have them fill the majority of the image.

Here's my Magic: The Gathering Wolverine card, autographed by Cal Dodd. Mr. Dodd is the voice actor for Wolverine in almost all the cartoons I'll scan this for my proxy deck, use the unsigned one as text reference, & frame it with the other Secret Lair cards

The Wolverine does go over a small part of the artwork but there wasn't space to avoid that. Both the silver and the blue obscure the text box.

I finished the removable seat for my walker. It's certainly not a problem job but it works & that's what matters It doesn't fold flat anymore. It's close enough to not be in the way. Much It's heavy enough to make a difference so the wheels are going to help 1/3

The walker with the bench seat in place. It's a black vinyl covered bench that fits across the cross bars of the cage walker frame.

An "inside" view of the bench up against the front frame of the walker. It fills the vertical space between the cross arms and the top rails. That's the maximum width of the seat.

A stylish side view with the seat in storage position against the front frame. I'm not sure what value this picture adds to the set except maybe to show that the seat extends 3 inches beyond the walker itself.

The bench in place, front view. The staples are on grand display. Behind the front rail you can see 2 small blocks that work as "stops" so the seat can't slide off the side when it's in use.

New tattoo! Very arty. It got into some painful areas, which makes me dread the upcoming sleeve on the other arm a bit I'll let it heal & live with it for a month but I think I can see touchups I want already I let the tattoo artist "go with the flow" within the design concept
