Age of Sigmar Dankhold Troggoth/Troggboss. Big lumbering troll miniature, covered in barnacles and fungus. This one has been customized - its weapon has been replaced with a ramshackle axe, and it has a makeshift shield strapped to one arm.

Finished up a #quar sandwich carrier unit and trying out a new camera lens? Vintage MC Volna-9 lens on my fuji xt-20. It’s a nice macro lens that seems excellent down to ~1:3, but has some weird ghosting/light abberations at max 1:2 macro. Lends some interesting character! #minipainting #macro

Detail of the Saurus Oldblood - this dinosaur-man is wielding a weird halberd-type weapon and sitting atop a mahogany saddle/howdah festooned with grisly trophies. His golden armour glints resplendently and his mouth is open, as if issuing a warcry.

Detail on the carnosaur. It's been painted in a manner inspired by Australian shingleback skinks - primarily deep brown scales but accented with random lighter yellow ones, and the beast features the trademark blue tongue common among the skinks.

going "lizard mode", doing this carnosaur using shingleback skinks that I saw in Australia as a distant reference.

Age of Sigmar Seraphon Saurus Oldblood on Carnosaur. It's a model of a fancy dinosaur riding a big scary dinosaur. Currently a work in progress, the big dino is painted in homage to a shingleback skink, with dark brown scales punctuated by random yellow ones, and a yellow-brown underbelly.

Tiliqua rugosa, the shingleback skink. A cool reptile whose tail and head are almost indistinguishable. Its scales are in a similar dark brown-yellow mottled colouration.

Here's a selection of things that go bonk! (mushroom parent will bonk you on the noggin if you annoy their child)

3 Troggoths with bright yellow skin and purple rough hides. They're holding a variety of blunt force weaponry.

A Troggoth with red to pink skin and blue hide, holding a large yellow crystal in one hand an a crystal weapon on the other. They also have a very red nose.

Judithia the Brownie from the long arm militia. They're holding a large spear with a "safety boxing glove" attached to the end as they're so strong they kept turning beings that bothered the village into paste.

Mushroom parent and child. Don't piss off the parent or they'll bonk you on the noggin.

Ironjawz vs Skaven. I got overrun by super powerful stormvermin and had some legendarily bad dice rolls in this one!

Ironjawz vs Khorne. Crit Mortals are the bane of my existence but Gordrakk managed to kill a bloodthirster (and the tuskboss got the other one) so I got a moral victory?

Two dozen Klonk, Dessert Squig cupcakes. Red velvet with raspberry buttercream. They turned out delicious!

Gordrakk, Fist of Gork miniature. A hulking Ironjawz orruk wielding two huge axes rides atop a massive, muscular lizard-gorilla-dragon thing. I've painted the maw-krusha in traditional cabbage green and Gordrakk is sporting the red and black armour of the Bloodteef.

A Gork-Roara manifestation miniature. Basically a giant skull with a plume of green smoke billowing from the top, floating on a wave of goopy barf.

Ironjawz Megaboss on foot miniature. The biggest, most armoured orruk, with a huge axe, sporting the skull of some great beast lashed to one shoulder. His base is done up with lava texture and crackle paint, making him appear to be striding across a volcanic waste.

Ironjawz brute rager. Less armoured than all the other orruks, wielding a massive two-handed slab-sword and leaping across volcanic waste to hopefully ruin someone's day.

an Age of Sigmar Ironjawz Gore-Grunta - a heavily-armoured orruk with a spear, riding a heavily-armoured giant boar thing. it's basecoated with red and black armour with yellow accents.
