The US has at least 36 states and territories with COVlD outbreaks. The apparent wave peak has passed, but transmission remains high across much of the country. States with observed outbreaks include Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Guam, Hawai'i, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, and Wyoming. There are likely outbreaks in additional states. The summary statistic only includes counties with observed data, rather than estimated data. For example, Arkansas, DC, Idaho, Louisiana, Maryland, Nevada, Ohio, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Wisconsin likely have outbreaks, but monitoring is poor.

I can't overstate how ghoulish the Alt National Park Service's "coverage" of ICE is. AltNPS is not providing an "alert." They're not in North Austin, just like they weren't in Chicago, or in Houston, or in Biddeford, or in my hometown of Minneapolis.

Alt National Park Service: Alert ⚠️ An ICE officer shot 28-year-old Wilber Rafael Garces Perez in North Austin today after a traffic stop. He was shot in the torso and hospitalized in serious but stable condition. His attorney says Perez, a Venezuelan national, entered the U.S. legally and had a valid work permit.

Hi everyone, I’m starting up creating art more often again this next week. I slowed down a bit to help my parents as my dad is in treatment for bladder cancer. He’s doing well. He had the BCG washes after also having surgery. Today is his 89th birthday and God willing, it won’t be the last one.
