Sounds like CEOs, nothing he's doing actually takes that much work... otherwise he couldnt be doing all 3? 🤷‍♀️

Daughter still expects me to pull off a cake decorated to her choice. Theyre never perfect but it's always an honor ❤️

Someone dumped a litter of kittens. Clean and socialized and scared. I always wanted the kitten distribution system to pick me. I've now saved 14 kittens and have to many cats to keep any. But they sure are cute.

Apparently I have a severe allergy to duck eggs. My daughter got ducks last spring and we tried their eggs at dinner. They tasted exactly like chicken eggs to me. But no more duck eggs for me🤦‍♀️

You know those lists where you can check off life experiences? Well, today, I checked off riding in an ambulance and being admitted to the ER. And now I get to carry an epipen for the rest of my life. Oi.

Well, the majority of the book is kya being suspected, being found not guilty, casting doubt, her becoming a successful naturalist/author only for her to die at an old age and her husband finds proof that she actually did it.

I think so! Its a Reese Witherspoon book club book and all the successful ones are made into movies...

I've never seen this. I have several baby orchids (keikis) from flower stalks but I've never seen a new bud from an orchid base. The plant seems healthy and thriving. But there's a baby sprout 🤷‍♀️

This is why I switched to “and why is it bad to be autistic” with anti-vaxxers. It doesn’t work to site statistics at them, because they’re not actually worried about vaccines, it’s just ableism. And not everyone can be talked out of ableism, but a lot of people *can* if you make them think about it

Maybe estrogen would help me but i think me feeling crazy in my 30s was my ex-husbands fault. Women should have those checked, too 🤪

Everyone watch Kevin Can F**k himself. Right now. It is amazing. And really highlights how not funny those "comedies" were.

I was so excited to add bees to my little acre. I went to add a box late this evening, was stung 5 times, and one got in my head cover and caught in my hair. Maybe this isn't the life for me...

My family's cabin is filled with quirky weirdness and vintage things. The couch always had a yellow flower pillowcase, but I always hated the striped one paired with it. It just didn't belong. I looked on ebay, loved the idea of blue flowers and decided on this one. It is the exact same pattern.

Both these boys were neutered as kittens, and are both full grown adults. Meowhito looks almost miniature compared to max

I'm more and more convinced that people who light fireworks lack empathy- for their neighbors, pets, wildlife, veterans. And I believe that trait coincides with Elie Wiesel's definition of evil.

Oh, for sure. Interns are meant to be mentored which means supervision. But it's still crazy that they coordinate everyone's first day at a new job to be the same day...

A big reason you dont want to get hurt by July 4th fireworks is literally all medical residents (pretty much doctor interns) start July 1st. Seriously.

Unfortunately, people do lose immunity and not all vaccines are the same. People used to be considered immune simple because we werent having ourbreaks. You can get your titers checked if you are worried although in america, trump is restricting the vaccine even though there hasnt been a shortage.

I agree with the general statement but also- vaccines only work when enough healthy children get them. There are kids who can't get the vaccine (my daughter, SCID, couldnt get hers until 5y.o). Cancer patients lose immunity. Older folks lose immunity. It's the most vulnerable who end up paying.

Something like 1/3 of high school grads never read another book after high school. Something like 50% of college students never read another book after college. Not sure how many of those actually read anything in high school or college...

I've never seen crows in my yard before. But I've also been wishing I could befriend some. Today 8? Showed up? Squawked at me quite a bit. I gave them banana and a tiny bit of bread and a watermelon crust. Neverminding the omens, biologically why would a murder of crows randomly show up in a yard?

I love vintage. But I hate feeling like my house is where vintage goes to die. I got these cute vinyl dining chairs for free a few years ago. One had a tear and all needed their ball bearings replaced. But now all are torn. Trying my best to make some fun repairs with leather patches.

Im so sorry. My daughter was born with a severe immune disorder so we had to make the choice to homeschool when COVID started. Then our state did away with masks before the initial kids vaccine was available. I think its another way they kick women out of the workforce. Give us impossible choices.

I learned a fun fact- fireworks can have the visual display and be quiet. The BOOM is a choice. It is a separate part added intentionally. Just why?!?? I'd much rather see the pretties and not hear them!

I had a partial hysterectomy in 2016 so, luckily, I've not had to deal with periods. BUT, i think it triggered peri-menopause for me. It's not been fun. Im now getting hot flashes so hopefully this ends soon. Stupid hormones.

Two kittens and a Tom went to TNR and the shelter today. 1 or 2 more kittens to save and many, many more ferals to trap. One day I will win this battle. Until then I will feed them and name them and love them (and sometimes bury them) even if it's just from a distance...

Found another. Kitten season is in full swing. Already trapped one adult male this year. Guess I need to get into full time trapping again
