A screen shot of a fake newspaper shown at the end of the movie "Stripes". The headline in the lower right quadrant says "Arctic Command welcomes new C.O." and features a photograph of disgraced Captain Stillman (played by John Larroquette) wearing a fur-hooded parka and a very unhappy look.

I would have expected nothing else. mydialect.us/quiz-extende...
The results from taking the dialect quiz at https://mydialect.us/quiz-extended.html show 55 percent of the answers match a Utah resident. The map is shaded heavily red from Utah through Nevada and the West Coast, shifting to orange and then yellow through the Plains states, pale green in the Upper Midwest and Northeast, turning distinctively bluer as it dips into the South.

What's your favorite Bible verse? Wrong answers only.
A photo of Kevin Costner as "Crash Davis" from the movie "Bull Durham" overlaid with the monologue he delivers when "Annie Savoy (played by Susan Sarandon)" asks him "Well, what do you believe?"

He replies "Well, I believe in the soul, the cock, the pussy, the small of a woman's back, the hangin' curveball, high fiber, good Scotch, that the novels of Susan Sontag are self-indulgent, over-rated crap. I believe Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone. I believe there oughta be a constitutional amendment outlawing AstroTurf and the designated hitter. I believe in the sweet spot, soft-core pornography, opening your presents Christmas morning rather than Christmas Eve. And I believe in long, slow, deep, soft, wet kisses that last three days. Good-night."

A view of a tree in a forest. A sign was attached to the tree at some point long ago but the tree bark has overgrown the entire sign, almost completely enveloping it with the exception of the word HELP in relatively small print on the left edge of the sign.

The best film adaptation of the Odyssey, wrong answers only
The movie poster for "Race For Your Life, Charlie Brown". The Peanuts gang are in a rubber raft about to go over a waterfall. Snoopy and Woodstock are next to them. Snoopy is in a rubber innertube with a sail. Woodstock is perched atop the mast. On the other side are the bad kids in their pontoon raft. Charlie Brown has a speech balloon over him which reads "It's my new wilderness adventure! The entire 'Peanuts' gang faces everything from bullies to rampaging rapids. 'Good grief', will you have fun!"

A screen capture from the movie "Blazing Saddles" showing the fake town that the citizens of Rock Ridge built to fool the bad guys. There is an explosion and several fake horses have been blown high into the air. The surrounding 'buildings' are all just plywood fronts propped up by long pieces of lumber.

The punch line is that I turned out to be a much better player than he was, even though I had never played organized baseball before. In this photo I am the boy in the center back row with the bat. Shane is the boy wearing the #2 jersey at left, crouching with his hands on his knees.
A Little League baseball team poses for a photo in front of the Wasatch Mountains in Utah, in the summer of 1976. The boy standing in the center back row is the same person that is typing this alt text. "Shane" is the boy who is wearing #2, crouching with his hands on his knees in the middle row left.

Skelly is all dressed up for Pride Month now.
A 12-foot Home Depot skeleton stands in the front yard of an old house in a tiny village in rural Illinois. It's wearing a rainbow hat and holding a string of a couple dozen rainbow flags. Behind it there is a Pride banner hanging from the porch soffit. There is a Paul Nolley for Congress sign at its feet.
