This caught my eye in Auchan, Calais. Big promotion of Bel’Gem 75cl beer. Interesting that it comes from Omer brewery in Bellegem, Belgium. Coming in at €1.64 a bottle worth buying a few, well 9. Now to taste alongside their other beers Omer and Le Fort.

At first glance nothing unusual about this urban street scene until you realize no motor vehicles and children playing. Our usual SE4 'In Town Without Your Car Day' event went well, lovely weather too. Tomorrow parents will have to explain why their children can't play out again.

I tried to suggest the councils training department included courses on chairing meetings. They didn't see a need. I also suggested it to LGA re chairing pension meetings. Not such a negative response TBF.

I gave a similar 7 minute presentation to a London Councils (LEPT) meeting re Velocity in Seville (they accepted my paper!) but still found time for a photo of a Tapas bar. Sevilla is just about active travel.

I have and they have emailed the Head of department. It's only 9 days away and we have always given residents plenty of notice that formal approval given via leafletting, if we don't hear today will probably have to cancel.
