Have you noticed ChatGPT prefers to include periods inside quotation marks ("Like this.")? Analysis of quotation styles on 5M paper abstracts before and after ChatGPT (2022) shows a steady increase in American-style quotations ("word.") while British style ("word".) stays flat.
