Did you know you can look up any major brand, store or restaurant chain to see if it is supporting this administration? We can vote w/ our dollar every day. Here's where to check: Are you willing to make a little more effort to exercise what power you have left?

you don’t need the press corps anymore — just pull out your phone. AOC did a livestream that spurred THOUSANDS of calls to congress. the msm wants drama? give it to them. like right now dems should have a fucking PARADE of fired federal workers out there putting a face on all this.

Trying to stay sane while being informed. We really have two sort facts from fiction, and get free of the shock and awe that will wear us down. Highly recommend reading this article by the great scholar and historian Clay Jenkinson for substantial direction to chew on...

And now your break from poliitics. David and his son Duncan Jones aka Zowie, a filmmaker who started the David Bowie book club to honor his father's zealous penchant for reading. www.bowiebookclub.com/david-bowies...

ACTION OF THE DAY: Go to www.ssa.gov/myaccount Create an account if you don't have 1, even if you're not yet collecting SS. Download, print & screenshot all your benefits in case it disappears/changes + order a physical SS card, laminate & keep in a firesafe briefcase in your home.

Call #'s for the DNC & the DCC + the Congressional switchboard. Make them aware you want them to recognize & support the 2 dems up for special election on 4/8. Make the calls and pls donate to both - even $5 &/or spread their link to donate on your pages. Gail Vailmont, and Josh Weil.

Not sure how widespread this is, but sharing anyway. I will do this - already ordering 90% less from Amazon and taking the time to give my business to mom and pops/brick and mortar/Etsy, etc..One day should not be hard for any of us.

Due to living in several cities, I no longer see the peeps I love most on a regular basis. We call, email, even FT, but began having Zoom dinner or Zoom cocktails together, and it's just like sitting in each others living room. WHY didn't I do this earlier?

DONATE to the dems in any special election due to seats being vacated! At least 3 in U.S. House, where Repubs hold a tiny majority. Fill FLA frmr Reps. Matt Gaetz & Mike Walt's seats. Then in NY to replace Rep. Elise Stefanik. apnews.com/projects/ele...

I was hoping to come here & NOT see all politics, but that so far is pretty much all it is. Seeing more ppl I don't know in my feed, & few that I do, tho I made lots of effort to get people here. Pls share something personal, uplifting, fun or funny DAILY to create balance & get things going.

Earthquake in York Me, 8 miles into the ocean, now saying down graded to 3.9 from original 4.1 estimates. Friends are reporting feeling it as far south as Cambridge MA. I was in LA during the 6.7 Northridge - that was a TRIP, but did not expect it here!

Arctic seal stopped on the beach near my back yard to rest. Looked healthy, very alert. I waited there with a neighbor until the Seacoast Animal Rescue volunteers showed up to put signs around it, as this is the time of day everyone would be coming after work with their dogs. Thank you!

Next trip pick something up. Hardware stores sell suet with embedded seeds/berries for $2, $ little cages to hold them. Don't need fancy birdseed holders. Put a metal tray on a table or the ground with shelled sunflower seeds, or whatever is sold in bags at the grocery store... just till spring. <3
