i'm not looking to have a whole ass conversation about this, but tl;dr no fluxer is not vibecoded, there was like one/two AI PRs (back when Discord first floated age verification) and they were basically immediately ripped out by the maintainer everyone keeps talking like the entire thing is genAI

Gonna be moving to fluxer i think. While im not personally affected by this now that the mobile bugs are fixed I really just dont like how this is being handled, and the targeted gambling ads is super super yucky

Self hosting is an option through something like fluxer but I dont think I nor my friend group has the knowledge or resources to do so.

I'm torn because reading through this gives me a lot more comfort than I did a few months ago, but that doesnt mean I suddenly like it. I feel much less hostile about sharing my credit data (after all I had bought nitro before) than my ID. And moving somewhere else is a temporary solution...
