I’ve been enjoying the Strava sub preview, if only because it’s a break from the usual Garmin trash-talking. It wasn’t the rain that slowed me down… it was picking my way through the piles of toads and rat snakes on the waterlogged trail at 5:30am with only a headlamp. #runner #runsky #run

I’m an Old who only likes 80s-brand horror, so after finally getting Final Girl, I was pretty stoked. Me on my first play-through: This guy doesn’t have a movement on his normal action to start. How does he even kill anyone? *flips the Terror card* Me: … Ah. Of course. All the tropes are there.

A game card titled What’s that noise? Let’s go and see!” It describes some game effects that take place, starting with All victims move 1 space toward the closest enemy.

Three victims in Final Girl are in an area adjacent to the killer, about to be moved into the area with the killer before his attack sequence begins.

Recently I talked about the Artemis mission to some elementary school classes who were learning about the Apollo missions. They were fidgety, noisy, and when I opened it up for questions, all they wanted to know about were black holes — and that’s EXACTLY why I love scicomm with kiddos over adults.
