Apologies to the low tax increase politicians out there in #ottawa… but I will not be limiting my contracting rate increases to 2% over the next few years!

One of the most sociopathic indicators is having a motorcycle or modified vehicle that is loud! There! It is said! How are such noise machines even permitted to be licensed in #ontario ??!! Not only banned … but to also get demerit points.

How i do so enjoy the assholes that drive their ATV around our rural roads while continually revving them up as we try to enjoy some late summer mosquito filled quiet Sunday evening! My dogs are particularly enjoying this ridiculous noise levels. Hey ATVers: come see how much one my dogs enjoys it

It mid-September and they are still bad! Nary a bug though in northern Algonquin Park. Me thinks something else is amiss…like the use/ abuse of those mosquito spraying companies by a few “I don’t care about the environment “ folks. Any research on broader im pacts of those services products? 🤔🤬🤷‍♂️

Lots of news on rogue drones/ UAVs interfering with airport operations (read about the incident in Germany). As more of these "airshows" become commonplace, and include more advanced notices sent to public, I wonder how the risk of drone-takeovers could manifest itself. Is tech possible to do so? 🤔

According to City of Ottawa, 25% of workforce that is represented here is repped by women. And yes diversity in the workplace / workforce is tied to the successes and “fights” won by labour movements. Representation of fairness in any public institution is important.

Amazon's own balance sheet presents the most compelling evidence that we are stuck in the Enshittocene, the era in which everything is turning into a pile of shit, because the worst ideas of the worst people now make the most money. 1/

Hieronymus Bosch's 'The Conjuror,' a painting depicting a medieval con artist playing a shell game for an audience of astonished peasant rubes. The image has been altered: the conman now has Jeff Bezos's grinning head, and the mouths of all the peasants have been replaced with inverted Amazon 'Smile' logos, so they are now frowning.

Really dislike the use/ over-use of the term 'deal' in recent news cycles: it is so transactional; simplistic. I was under impression that countries negotiated trade agreements. More polished, diplomatic term. But I guess that 'agreement' does not fit into the narcissist's behaviour or his book!
