In case you know somebody at NVIDIA that would value early DwarfStar support for the DGX Station, please ping them saying I would be interested in receiving one and making the Station one of the main targets of the project. It fills the low power small-mid company target of DS.

In “The Secret of Monkey Island” Grog is so corrosive it melts a metal mug. Watching a friend solve that puzzle in the 90s broke my brain. 30 years later I rebuilt the engine that ran it: in the browser, AI flipping bits, me steering. For fun. GrogVM plays it end to end. grogvm.dev

Unsurprisingly, the new @eurosky.social firehose is much faster for @sifa.id to connect to (compared to the standard bsky firehose) and on-par with the @microcosm.blue firehose (as all 3 are on 🇪🇺 Hetzner servers) Well done team, big wins for atproto independence and decentralization this week! 👏👏👏
Bar/table comparison of three AT Protocol Jetstream servers tested from a Hetzner Germany VPS. Eurosky (jetstream1.eurosky.network) and microcosm (jetstream2.fr.hose.cam) are both in Germany; Bluesky US (jetstream1.us-east.bsky.network) is in the US. Throughput is identical across all three at about 150 events per second. Real-time lag (how far behind live): Eurosky 2ms, microcosm 1ms, Bluesky US 47ms. WebSocket connect time: Eurosky 37ms, microcosm 25ms, Bluesky US 294ms. All three carry id.sifa records with matching counts. Takeaway: the two EU jetstreams are near-instant; the transatlantic US one is ~45ms laggier and ~10x slower to connect.

That’s not what i asked, and the reason and I didn’t mention any country specifically. Let’s say “a country” exists, is it even possible? Are there corp laws that can block a company to extricate from the country it has been incorporated in, effectively moving IP from a country to another?
110
Rocco Zanni @roccozanni.com · 13/06/2026
Hypothetical and probably stupid question, because I'm totally oblivious to corporate law intricacies: for a company like Anthropic, to which talent will flock regardless of its location, what would it take to "relocate" to a more friendly country? Or to IPO in a non-US exchange?

Massive news. And I assume this is wired to the new PLC directory and the new Firehose, right? What's missing at the moment in terms of infra for this stack to be fully EU based?

Rocco Zanni @roccozanni.com · 11/06/2026
Fable 5 is definitely more autonomous than Opus 4.8 to deliver coherent work across longer session. It seems also less steerable though, so incorporating self-feedback mechanisms and doing a good planning work is more important than ever.

Fable 5 (aka Cookie Monster) swallowed it whole in 27 minutes. I had at least 7 or 8 previous sessions with Opus 4.8 and it couldn't figure it out, so at some point I gave up and tabled the issue for later. I can already foresee the naughty list section of the backlog getting cleared pretty soon.

No skills, but in this project I'm using it for there's a lot going on already in terms of steering, durable memory, conventions, etc so I wouldn't probably call it "stock experience".
