We withdrew in Dec 2011 & the situation got worse. Al-Qaida was able to reconstitute itself as a major threat and then we had to deal with ISIS as well. And US troops went back in in 2014 and we still have troops there supporting a government that may or may not be able to stand on its own.

The US can't reliably force a regime change in Iran. Nobody can. We & Israel killed almost the entire senior leadership at the start of this war. The regime didn't fall; rather a new & younger generation of leaders who more hardline than the previous ones stepped into the places of the dead ones.

Inflation rose 0.9% in March, hitting an annual rate of 3.3% - the highest in 2 years. The increase was driven by a whopping 21.2% spike in gasoline prices caused by Trump's war of choice with Iran. For a guy who ran on lowering costs, this President's policies are doing the exact opposite.
