A new type of bird flu has been found in dairy cows in Nevada www.npr.org/sections/sho... This new stain is the one that caused the LA death and left a B.C. teenager hospitalized for a long time. This is very bad news, especially for diary farm workers. They better start protecting themselves.

Of the 10,600 people monitored after being exposed to H5N1 bird flu-infected animals, only 540 have been tested, according to the CDC. 63 of those tested were positive, bringing the positivity rate to over 11%.
Targeted surveillance for H5N1 since March 24, 2020, monitoring exposed individuals for symptoms and testing for human cases.
