iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

October will be this year's conference month for me. I'm doing three presentations at two, hosting another one. I'll be starting with Containerkonferansen before heading to Bergen for BOSKonf, then meeting the community in Norway at Cloud Native Days Norway. True whirlwind barbarian style 😅

Platform Engineering is more than technology. It is strategic utilization of resources and people, building the foundational core of your business. #PlatformEngineering #CloudNativeAmbassador #MVPBuzz

One after the other 🎉 I can keep calling myself a Microsoft MVP for at least another year. This is my sixth year now and this time I truly thought that I would not make the cut. Sometimes it is good to be wrong 😅 Thanks to Sopra Steria for letting me run around and share knowledge. #MVPBuzz

Happy to share that I have been fortunate to be reelected as #CloudNativeAmbassador. Glad to be continuing my work supporting the Cloud Native community and the CNCF.

If you are at #KubeConEU today, make sure to stop by the Platform Engineering Technical Community Group in the project pavilion. Very close by the sticker wall 😎

Another internal conference, but this time it is open for friends. This concept is really cool: one conference hosted at all our locations in Norway at the same time. I will be speaking in Oslo about how to get the most out of your terminal and start living a text-based life. Wanna nerd with me? 🤓

I keep on trying to keep up to date with things, but I keep on forgetting to check certain websites and such. RSS has always made sense to me, but I haven’t really found a great way to consume them. Any suggestions on RSS readers or tools that I should check out?

I tried the @kagi.com small web feature for the first time, and on the third result I got a new post about the latest version of SuperTuxKart, and this just blew my mind. I totally forgot this thing even existed, and to find that it is under active development? Some things truly never change 😅

Tomorrow, I will be hosting my first tabletop role-playing campaign as a game master. I have been thinking about doing this since I started with TT RPG about 20 years ago, and I guess it's about time I did something about it 🤓

Someone needs to let Machine Head know that using Scandinavian letters is fucking hilarious for us non-American. I'm looking forward to seeing them live again, but I am more looking forward to hearing everyone at tons of Rock talk about the newest albums while pronouncing all the Ø's in Norwegian.

Next up in my "ergo everything" journey, the Logitech MX Ergo S Advanced. While it doesn't seem to have that much tenting, it does actually feel pretty good over time. Not that easy to get used to moving the mouse with only the thumb, but give me a couple of days 😅

I got everything that I needed out of Easter. Multiple days in a row with nothing but relaxing, gaming, and hanging with my girlfriend and the most hormone-stricken dog ever. OK, the last part I could do without, but I had a lot of surplus energy to deal with it 😅

Love seeing Norwegian Public Sector being on stage at #KubeCon & #CloudNativeCon, one of the biggest conferences in the world! Thank you Audun and Hans Kristian, this shows the world that even the public sector can be at the front of technology! #CloudNativeAmbassador #CloudNative #

This week has been awesome! We managed to pull off Cloud Native Day Oslo 2025, our second conference, and it went really well! Met a lot of new and familiar faces, a big lift in attendees from last year, and in general a happy community. Already planing the next one 🤓 #CloudNativeAmbassador

After moving from QWERTY to Colemak DH, I keep on writing an F when I wanted to hit the W, so I keep on typing netforks. What does look like? These are the things that keep me up at night.

In exactly two weeks, I will travel all the way to Seattle to attend my very first MVP Summit. I have been an MVP for 4 years now, but I never had the chance to visit Redmond until now. Who of you will I meet there? #MVPBuzz #CloudNativeAmbassador

Testing out the Carpio 2.0 wrist rests, and so far so good. Interesting take on wrist rests, and something I have to get used to, but it matches with my white voyager 😊

Visste du at man kan endre hvordan språk man skriver, og at man kan filtrere ut språk man ikke vil se? De fleste endrer nok ikke det, men jo flere som gjør det så hjelper det nok litt på. #norskblåsky

Saw them at Tons of Rock this year, but unfortunately not going to see them next time they are in Oslo 😐

Best album of the year must be Opeth’s “The Last Will And Testament”. It’s as proggy as ever, but with some flashbacks to their older stuff, which is a perfect combo for me. I’ve had at least 10 playthrough of it so far, looking forward to years of enjoying this album 👏 #Music #Prog #Metal

Life in the arctic. Narrowly avoiding bumping into some reindeer on my way out with the dog. When in Rome, and all that.

Two reindeer, under the bridge in Tromsø.
