I gave a good third of it to Allen and I’m proud of myself for having that kind of restraint 😌

Me at Jamba: “omg a medium pumpkin smash is 90 carbs but they are so good and I’ve been sick this last week and we are walking for community day oh what the hell…” Jamba: “oops, we made too much so here have a large on us” Me: 😵‍💫

Agree except the entire lock on the game whenever they started talking to each other was the most annoying but that’s not the story’s fault. Reminded me of FFXIV dawntrail took forever to establish the story but then finally in the last chapter it was a “whoa!”

Rob Roberts @robroberts.bsky.social · 4h

I thought the main story was a little zzz until the very last sequence when I was like damn this got dark for a “kids” game.

I’m debating what my next steps are. I finished the Home dex for shield so I might do the same here though I’m hearing I’ll need the DLC for that. This Costco Nintendo card deal is sure pushing me that way

My husband @allenalchemy.bsky.social has also taken a recent interest in beating pokemon games so I wanted to be ready to help lol. And also wasn’t going to let him beat me on beating this generation after I’ve had such a head start 🤣 ♥️

What finally worked for me: - Switch 2 version being far more enjoyable - using a team of starter + extra shinies transferred from Pokemon GO forcing myself to have a static team and not let my adhd brain play the constant game of optimizing the perfect team every minute as I go.

Only took 4 years and 5 attempts but I finally beat Pokemon Scarlet :D

AND a new Alanis holiday album inbound? Oh the universe is apologizing to me today and i accept!!

Album cover- Alanis Morissette Good Weather for Immaculate Conception.
Alanis wearing nerdy glasses and a hoodie covered in what I think might be snow but looks like powdered sugar or cocaine.

Feeling so much better today only my voice/throat is still a little ick but the fevery stuff (worst part) is gone. Bring on Halloween officially, I’m now at peak immunity 👹

Anyway please don’t watch that even out of morbid curiousity it just inflates the ego of the stupid ass in charge

if I was an ethical hacker who knew how to hack the planet and all that, id change that planned livestream of our government shooting someone to a livestream of someone reading pages of the unredacted epst*in files

Something annoying im learning about adhd meds is that i want to nap because i feel so sick and it’s very difficult to do that. Maybe I should have skipped today but I also feel like not being regular is bad.

160

Rob Roberts @robroberts.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

At least I got Carly Rae Jepsen tickets (we are just going to go to the SF show after all instead of making travel out of it)

2110

Rob Roberts @robroberts.bsky.social · 07/10/2026

Ugh I thought this was just a minor thing but it got worse over last night. It’s not testing as COVID but it’s annoying af all the same. Time to nap 😴

I need a few more listens before I can really agree or not. I def think there’s some filler tracks but a good chunk of it I really did like.

010

Rob Roberts @robroberts.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Oh she just wants those extra streams!!! Lol. The album is fine for me but honestly I’ve been more into Tove Lo’s release which seems to be less generally well received by critics but wtfever I like what I like 🤷 lol

Rob Roberts @robroberts.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Just think if we had circles we could really have the best of both worlds. I know, I know, this isn’t Twitter and wasn’t designed to be that but it’s difficult to have something so great to then have it snatched away by actual idiots 😒

Rob Roberts @robroberts.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Yeah it’s not a complaint just wild it’s a firehose of stuff all at once!!

Hold up a B sides “album” (is 8 tracks an album or EP hmm) already for Day & Night??? Okay Miss Jepsen she’s got bills to pay!!!! Lol

The Oh, Mary tour was just announced to come to Sacramento next year. They really said oh bitch you wanna go for round 3? (It really depends on who is cast as Mary that’s going to be the sole decision factor)

San Diego seemed to be the problem airport this weekend

100

Rob Roberts @robroberts.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Another day another Southwest flight delayed over an hour. Tried to get on one of the two flights leaving now, one of them scheduled for 4PM(!) and was told both are full. 😔 woe

Rob Roberts @robroberts.bsky.social · 05/10/2026

Had a great weeekend in San Diego visiting my old roommate and one of my closest friends. Ended up getting $25 tickets for Oh Mary today and even though I’d seen it before and our seats were up in space, it’s been a great day

Just got back from a “bear night” at a bar here and it wasn’t like anything in simple old sac, dancing on the very compact dance floor with sweaty middle aged hairy men was exactly the therapy I needed 🙂‍↕️

Appeal that shit and if upheld go to the DMHC they are relying on you to not fight. Let me know if I can help in any way even if it’s just a hug.

Allen and I had a laughably bad day at the San Diego zoo. There’s a heatwave and almost every animal was hiding, by the time we were leaving around 3 the zoo was extremely empty, kind of annoyed with admission price in light of that but what can ya do. On the bright side I got to feed a giraffe

Me, feeding a giraffe looking interested

Ahhhh crap, yeah that’ll get you. I’m sorry :/

110

Rob Roberts @robroberts.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

Call your insurance, if this wasn’t disclosed to you up front this can be very dicey- at minimum you can file a complaint with office staff for not giving you adequate warning, best case scenario you can get your insurance to cover.

Rob Roberts @robroberts.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

I’m not a huuuge United fan but admittedly don’t fly them enough. You couldn’t pay me to fly American air

110

Rob Roberts @robroberts.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

I try to always use Delta as a first preference but my options for a direct flight out of SMF are limited

110

Rob Roberts @robroberts.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

I flew it yesterday lmao. They aren’t nearly as good as they used to be but to go from one mid sized airport on the west coast to another there’s really no other options. Our flight was delayed an hour which almost seems like the norm for a flight later in the day.

Rob Roberts @robroberts.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

CRJ tour! Allen and I debating making a Vegas trip out of it, the venue is smaller than SF and actually on a weekend. 🤔

Carly Rae Jepsen Day and night poster for her tour. Dates are listed available at carlyraemusic.com
