A useful place to store a sun visor, or the delightful Miss Switch?

Fisherman's Museum, Tenerife. It's a small museum and I'd describe it more as a model ship collection since if you're fishing using an aircraft carrier, you're cheating. Nice display of knots and collection of shells, but lacks focus or explanations (even in Spanish). Still, good model ships.

I'm aware that the existence of brunch suggests also lupper and seakfast, but drunch? Some kind of dinner brunch contraction as an antiparticle of afternoon tea, or is it just lunchtime drinks?

Handy. For all my ferret-related needs. But what about the otters?

But what on earth is going on here, unless a hidden third bird has just pecked him in the bajingles.

I could question why the lady here is nude parrot watching.

Every Museum includes the one on Loro Parque - the Museum of Porcelain. Some fine china parrots here.

I do not know why there are steps with Agatha Christie novel titles painted on in Tenerife, but I approve.

Look at all those wind turbines, needlessly slaughtering whales as we watch. Quite a few of them on Tenerife.

Bonus museum - the Little Paris Museum in Bucharest. Includes a very rare pre-war Romanian passport the Russians post-war tried to collect to destroy because the text says valid everywhere except Russia.

Corporate motivational toss. In over eight words, foolishly.

As part of my Every Museum In London project (early days, this is number two) went to the Soho Museum, which is a very small volunteer-run museum taking part in the Open House Festival in London, which had a two room exhibition on the West End at War. With a broom-based bomb remover...

Tottenham Court Road, ever captivating with their giant screens.

What new madness is this? A socket in a sofa? Pleasing alliteration but why? So if you move the sofa it gets stuck and someone shouts that it's plugged in? If you can plug into the sofa surely just plug into what the sofa's plugged into? I do not approve. Someone somewhere designed this.

Just off Tottenham Court Road is an unexpected little garden, with an unexpected little friend. Phoenix Garden. Lovely little place to pause.

I do find this kind of thing very pleasing. Someone went to some effort. I know nothing about the company or its ethics, but at least someone made a broccoli tree in front of a loaf hill on the side of a delivery truck and slightly brightened my day.

And by way of introduction, here are my two cats. Pepper (L, mother) and Coco (R, daughter). Black cats (mostly, in Coco's case) are allegedly less popular because they don't look good on social media. I disagree.

One of the nicest things in London is the big room opposite Tottenham Court Road station with a weird thing on massive screens. This week it was a giant Tetris played by the observers, and then a weird Japanese garden with giant fish - it's just always worth stopping to watch. Free public art.
