This masterpiece was released OTD, April 8th, in 1977. Not only is this record one of the best albums ever (IMO), it’s in the conversation of one of the best debut albums of all time. #theclash

Unified Theory…that’s the band was rose from the ashes of Blind Melon (Brad Smith, Christopher Thorn) with singer Chris Shinn and former Pearl Jam drummer, Dave Krusen. They released two terrific albums.

Jeff Ament: “I have amazing memories of making that record. Most days, Chris [Cornell] would come in with a new song. We would wrap our heads around it, & it was so easy & free that it almost felt like it was somebody else flowing us the songs. It came from such a good place, too.” #jeffamentmonth

Call me crazy, but when a convicted felon KNOWN for cheating people, scamming people, and having to close his Foundation and University for fraud says he wants to go to Fort Knox to see if "someone stole the gold," my Spidey sense starts tingling. You can't trust that fucker.

“The best songs are the ones that make you feel something. When things weren’t easy for me, growing up, I felt music saved my life. I had absolutely nothing else besides music. So if we’re gonna play or write a song, you know, write about something that means something.” - Eddie Vedder #eddievedder
