Joy Division were a post punk band 1977-1980, their first LP cover is now often seen on tshirts. When their singer Ian Curtis died in 1980 they reshuffled and became New Order!

Some fascinating extra insight from the Isley Brothers' Wikipedia page

"In February or March 1964, at the recommendation of a former associate of Joe Tex, Ronnie Isley granted guitarist Jimi Hendrix (who would later become famous as a solo artist) an audition that led to an offer to become the guitarist with the Isley Brothers' backing band, the I.B. Specials, which he readily accepted." It's the detail about Hendrix later being a famous solo artist that amused me.
