Either way, as a legal or social contract, legislation against marriage btwn 2 consenting adults is unconstitutional. from a logical pt of view, preventing a contractual arrangement between two people based on federally protected statuses such as race, gender, sex, or religion, is unconstitutional.

The overreach of the state demands adherence to a discriminatory system along racial lines. This was the case Loving v. Virginia made. because of this, the voter amendment specifically outlines discrimination on both gender & race, as hostility increased in current admin for all marginalized groups.

The other night I addressed the local chapters of the League of Women Voters and NAACP as part of a panel on the Voter amendments on the VA ballet. I was there on Marriage Equality which includes no discrimination against race, codifying interracial marriage for all Virginians.

We must note that all the condemnation of Tucker Carlson platforming Nick Fuentes has been about anti-Semitism and there has been an alarming and revealing silence around his anti-Black racism and white supremacy. When the head of the Heritage Foundation apologized, he only cited anti-Semitism.
