On the day he is a main candidate in a very important by-election, Facebook has *suspended* Zack Polanski’s account. This ON ITS OWN should be reason to vote Green in Holborn & St Pancras. This is foreign interference in British democracy. And guess what, the media (and Labour) is silent.

I had to interact with a chatbot the other day and it kept saying "I". It really wound me up. It is not a person so it shouldn't be using the first person singular.

If the “foreign actor” of Iran can recruit petty criminals to unwittingly spark a major security incident outside RAF Fairford, why can't the “foreign actor” of Israel do exactly the same? I unpick the absurd spin on the RAF Fairford arrests: jonathancook.substack.com/p/reporting-...

Reporting of the RAF Fairford arrests blows a hole in the idea of a ‘free press’
When the establishment media deals with issues in which the West’s war industries are most heavily invested, it happily jettisons even the semblance of critical distance from the state

But are they ruined? My mother has recently moved into residential care. She has sold her house and it is v likely the full value will pay for care costs. She is not ruined. She will have a stable situation for the rest of her life. Her father always said " there's nae pockets in a shroud".

If you eject the batteries fast enough backwards you could have a new propulsion system to boot. As the batteries would now be falling vertically, they'd be much easier to locate.

How about you take the wings off and run them at high speed on rails with power supplied via overhead wires. Maybe not practical on trans Atlantic routes.

Why is the rallying cry only stop making it worse? We need so much more. We need to take out over 100ppm of carbon dioxide just to get back to where we were when I was born.

😔 Those least responsible for creating climate breakdown are paying the highest price. 🌏 Climate justice means the wealthiest nations paying for the loss and damage caused by our current and historic emissions.
Graphic showing rescue workers in a devastated Nepal. A quote from Dr Sunoor Verma reads, "Nepal produces a rounding error's worth of the world's carbon emissions. It is now paying, in bodies and bridges, for a century of someone else's industry." A slogan reads: CLIMATE JUSTICE NOW.

If you had say £1,000 would it be better to buy plug in solar or invest in a community solar project? I'm guessing more energy would be generated from the same money invested in a larger project.

There is a big problem with the existing housing stock. The majority are heated with gas central heating which also provides hot water. Water heating is not an option with any air to air units currently on the market. A solution is needed that can go out at scale.

Rather than paying for curtailment, is there grid capacity to pay users to increase demand eg for cooling by lowering setpoints for a period. This would at least be partially recovered later in the day.
