Today I applied to volunteer as a naturalist at my city's natural areas. It required blowing dust off my résumé & filling out an online application. I struggled to send my résumé from a Google Doc, and to get my laptop to hook to the printer, all of which reminded me why I retried 3 years ago. 🤣

I took a media law class in college 30 years ago and one day we discussed media monoplies. I distinctly remember the professor saying how it could hurt our country if only a few companies owned all the media outlets. It's like he knew what was coming.

Hahaha I woke up today feeling nauseous and with a sore arm from the flu shot I got yesterday.

Today I volunteered at a community festival to raise money for a volunteer fire department. I had a fun day and got free ice cream and even a free flu shot!
