HUGE editing weekend! It's amazing. I would have guessed I was close to publishing but that there would be minor tweaks. (Aren't there always?) But there were WAY more than I expected. It had been a year since I'd read it, and I found some writer tendencies I need to fix. 🫣😬

In “Writing Tools: 50 Essential Strategies for Every Writer,” Roy Clark suggests that we write a mission statement for each book. He says the mission statement should cover (1) what reader experience we want to craft (2) what we want to learn as writers. I love this idea! 😀💜 What do you think?🤔
