Thoughts: - we need a creator in the 10 every game - the big switch worked when we used it - Conway and LL don’t link up - Borges needs to peeper the box with crosses (hello Ryan Giles in January) - Howson should be used for late game cameos only - Hamilton is worse than Silvera

We’ve dropped an awful lot of points yes, but really so have all our rivals. Sheff Utd are the only team who’ve had consistency and we beat them, and are only 5 points behind them. Burnley look poor in my opinion and Leeds are similar to us.

I think the low block tactics stifles lots of teams, not just us. There aren’t many teams out there that play it effectively. I also think in current form we would brush it aside with the confidence they have. In terms of top 2 - we could be level on points with Sunderland by the weekend.

I think the buy, develop and sell is a bit overblown. It’s only really happened with Rogers. Tav and Spence were clearly just on the up and came from inside the club. Akpom was an obvious sale. I think we’re investing in players we can develop rather than just to sell.

Clarke, Fry, Edmundson and eventually Lenihan are more than capable at this level. The issue is if we go up - he would be a player that should adapt so wouldn’t need replacing. I’d sign a RB, Gilles if available and the long term RW solution to bed them in.

I’d say that Rav would be comfortable in the middle of the 3 or as a RCB. He played a lot in a 3 at Zwolle. I think he’d fit in really well for you - price should be doable as well.

Palace are desperate for a CB as well so it makes total sense I think. He is young, his body is developing and he picks up some injuries so could make sense from that point of view.
