If you’re looking for an interesting listen/read over the Easter break, “Careless people” by Sarah Wynn Williams will give you some sense as to why the world is in the state it’s in. Big tech is most definitely not our friend Simultaneously bizarre & frightening. www.audible.co.uk/pd/Careless-...

Privileged to join the celebration of the Cancer Trials contribution of Prof Ray McDermott to @cancertrialsie.bsky.social A friend and colleague to so many of us in cancer research in Ireland and across the globe and who has driven so many improvements in cancer care for his patients 👏👏

Thought I’d try to visually sum up today’s latest 🇺🇸 political developments. #Zelensky deserves a Nobel prize for his perseverance in the face of such ignorance #slavaUkraini The presence of 🇷🇺 Tass rep also indicates a potential for this having been preplanned & choreographed for propaganda

Few shots of my favourite winter visitor- the #Yellowhammer. Unfortunately, increasingly rare, they seem to be tempted to my suburban garden when it’s cold but will likely head back to the fields in the next few days #birdphotography #birds

Some challenging driving conditions now in parts of #Meath with #Snow #Sneachta. This was stretch from M3 Skyrne to Rathoath. Approx 2 cm on the road and extremely slippy. Further east weather just wet & sleety @carlowweather.bsky.social @meteireann.bsky.social

It doesn’t have to be this way and it’s not an inevitability…. But we do risk meandering there unless the similar vested interests are called out and tackled. Like simply standing, a working democracy is an active state and needs our action, not inaction. Inaction leads to us falling over!

Really great #ClinicalTrial presentation as always👏. Give that we’ve had hard evidence for years now of the massive waste associated with poor design this classic quote was in my mind.

Honoured to have joined our Garda colleagues today in supporting the Little Blue Heroes charity visit to Emerald park #Ashbourne. ~800 families dealing with life limiting conditions but a day of joy and fun for everyone.
