John Stewart's been my favorite Green Lantern since Mosaic. When I wrote Sisko on #DS9, I used John Stewart as inspiration. After #Lanterns? Even more my fave. Aaron Pierre is perfect casting. I'll even forgive that time that guy called John "Major" instead of "Sergeant Major." Well done. 99/100

I try to only revise once I've finished a nice big chunk, and then only if I have a specific agenda. Usually once I've written something and revised it maybe once, I can move forward with confidence, knowing I'll do several more passes once the whole thing is done.

So... I set it aside and started the OTHER novel I've been noodling instead. If you're keeping score, that's more or less my third start. But I'd rather toss 20+ days of work on a 300 day project than go another 20 days on something that isn't yet gelling.

How's the novel going? Did I get back to it after taking a break to work on the other thing? In reverse order: I did. It's not. Re-examining it after five days off was very helpful. Very helpful in seeing it has some fundamental issues that might be impossible to overcome. #Novelwriting is hard.

The Hunters are part of the Dominion in my head canon, but it was never part of official #DS9 canon. Tosk is part of the Dominion in so far as he and anyone like him are the Hunters' chew toys, but that's also just in my head.

A. Sorta? I wanted to establish the Hunters as part of the Dominion, showing them as their pilots and navigators. My bosses thought adding the Hunters to the Domininon would be confusing & 3 Dominion races were enough. IMO Tosks were given to the Hunters by the Founders to reward their loyalty. #DS9
