We're going to end this week on a warm and windy note, with high temps climbing into the 70s for the Valley on Friday and briefly into the 80s for Saturday. It'll be a breezy weekend too, ahead of a much colder and soggier start to next week. #ndwx #mnwx

The wind settles down tonight, with increasing clouds heading into tomorrow. Look for mainly cloudy skies on Thursday, with light west winds, & afternoon highs in the mid 60s for the Valley ahead of briefly warmer weather for Friday & Saturday. #ndwx #mnwx

After seeing highs well into the 70s, and even a few into the low 80s, today, slightly cooler and breezier conditions return tomorrow. Look for a mix of sun and clouds on Wednesday, with WNW winds sustained at 15-25 mph and gusting up to 35mph. #ndwx #mnwx

Lighter winds on are tap for Tuesday, along with warmer temps! Many spots see highs in the mid 70s under a mix of sun and clouds tomorrow, followed by the breeze returning Wednesday. Mild temps continue through the rest of this week though. #ndwx #mnwx

With the clouds and showers gone, there's just some wind to deal with this evening before things turn quieter for Sunday. Look for highs in the mid 60s tomorrow with plenty of sunshine ahead of a possibly frosty start to the day on Monday. #ndwx #mnwx

Not looking too shabby for homecoming tailgaters in the Valley tomorrow...mostly cloudy but mostly dry skies (just a stray shower or two) for your Saturday, with temps warming thru the 50s and 60s as winds turn from south to NW and pick up later in the day. #ndwx #mnwx

We've got a clear, calming and cold night ahead...the recipe for us to see frost to start your Friday. Most spots look to be well into the 30s for morning lows tomorrow. Mostly cloudy but mostly dry later on then for Friday football games. #ndwx #mnwx

It was a beautiful end to the month of September today, but an autumn reality check is just around the corner...we'll still see plenty of sun tomorrow, but highs will be back in the 60s, and we'll even have a chance for some frost Friday AM. #ndwx #mnwx

It's a seasonable fall weekend around the valley, with winds staying light. The main catches? You may still run into a misty/foggy patch this morning, and we will be underneath a blanket of clouds for today, with a little more sun tomorrow. Not too bad of a tradeoff. #ndwx #mnwx

Today's been a dreary day across the southern Valley and MN lakes country, but drier weather is on tap for the weekend. Tonight, we'll see lingering drizzle and areas of fog, but after the potential for a stray shower tomorrow, we're dry until the middle of next week. #ndwx #mnwx

Yesterday brought a long stretch of summer weather to a close around the region. Yesterday was the first time we'd stayed in the 60s since mid-June, but we will have the cool weather sticking around again today, and a chance for rain moving in to start the week. #ndwx #mnwx

Cooler, fall-like weather is on tap for the weekend, with a bit of a breeze for Saturday and then more sunshine for most on Sunday thanks to high pressure (though areas closer to SD could see a sprinkle in the AM). Clouds and periods of rain return to the area Monday. #ndwx #mnwx

The Severe T-Storm Watch has been cancelled early for our region (Grant, Hubbard, Otter Tail, and Wadena Counties, MN) as our severe threat has come to an end! There are a few lingering and weakening t-storms that'll fully exit our region over the next hour or two. #ndwx #mnwx

Rotation has weakened in Wadena Co., but a spin-up is still not fully out of the question. Still, hail stones to the size of golf balls (1.75") and gusts to 60mph, plus lightning and torrential rainfall, are the main concerns right now as this storm continues ENE at ~40mph. #mnwx

Some of us have a threat for severe storms to end the work week tomorrow, mainly in SE spots of the region like Wadena, Detroit Lakes, and Fergus Falls. Hail to 1-2", gusts to 60-70mph, heavy rain, and a few tornadoes are possible from ~5-10pm. #ndwx #mnwx

It was another breezy day today, with peak gusts upwards of 35mph. For tomorrow, the wind will decrease a bit more, but the temps will increase. Otherwise, look for plenty of sun on Thursday ahead of a chance for severe storms Friday PM across southeastern parts of the area. #ndwx #mnwx

We've got a break from storm chances now through early Friday, but we already have an eye on our next weathermaker on the way for later Friday that could bring parts of our region some strong/severe storms. Details TBD, but we'll keep you updated as we get closer. #ndwx #mnwx

It's not been a good day to be a trash can, with peak wind gusts upwards of 35-45mph. Tomorrow, it'll still be breezy, but not as bad as today. There could be a few AM showers, but otherwise, look for a mix of sun & clouds and highs in the 70s. #ndwx #mnwx
