You should absolutely stay on Miami Beach. Because of the beach. Then Uber everywhere else. You could stay in Brickell. You could stay in Little Havana or Coconut Grove. But then you'd have to Uber to the beach, and would still be ubering to everywhere else

I'm with you. I have a motorcycle license. I've looked casually into downshifting to a Vespa. E-bikes (virtually all e-motos where I live) give all the Vespa advantages - including speed - without requiring driver's ed, plates, parking, insurance, license. And no tickets. Quite a loophole

The biggest problem I see isn't sidewalk riding but the blowing off of red lights, stop signs, yields, SPEED LIMITS and all other rules of the road. Headphones on, no lights on the bike. Insanely common. All illegal yet never enforced, except sometimes after the fact when there's a collision

I agree with you. There should be 2 classifications. But where I live what you are calling "e-motos" are called "e-bikes" and are functionally* unregulated as such * There are some rules, sure, but they aren't enforced. * Those few rules are nothing like the strict laws covering motorcycles.
