It's been difficult to find eggs at our favourite roadside stands lately, because — winter. But I found a lovely young local farmer who delivers eggs. It feels very bougie and very old-school at the same time to have our eggs delivered. I am thrilled.

Two cartons of eggs sit on the kitchen counter. They vary in colour and size. They are from free-range chickens who are grainfed and housed more in the winter but still aren't living their lives in factory farm conditions. So yay for that!
