Unfortunately, the final episode will need to be postponed to next week due to a schedule shift. I may still plan to do a late night stream on Tuesday, but I'll post when I have it figured out.

With the skeb work officially delivered, I'm happy to FINALLY announce the artist that worked on the Infinix 10th anniversary commemorative song.

invasive thought about Caregiver's character song that I feel like I need to change the title to something else because the one I had in mind when I commissioned it doesn't fit quite as well as I like

The updated schedule for the conclusion of "FINAL FANTASY VII remembrance" on my Twitch channel. I'll be working on select battle-related sidequests and explorations on Monday, and descend into the final dungeon on Tuesday to wrap up this playthrough series. Please look forward to it!

Justice, delivered with her whole heart!! I commissioned Kicdon from Skeb again, this time to illustrate my tribute superhero OC, Caregiver. (So if you've been curious about what all that fuss about reviews and boosts was all about, now you know! www)

A superheroine OC posing with a heart gesture. The artist included a message of thanks.

Robenicks @robenicks.bsky.social · 02/10/2026

I'm happy to report that nothing happened with the review and the boost went through OK :)

Countdown to KupoCon is starting again, I can't believe it's already next month...

010

Robenicks @robenicks.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

*proceeds to super-overthink about it* LIke... it even let me send the boost after and confirmed it was being processed but I think it has to wait for whatever this review is to go through 100%? I'm sure it's fine but aaaaaa

100

Robenicks @robenicks.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

I got a notif. about a skeb work being finished and got super excited about it-- but it was for another artwork I commissioned recently for another OC. I was able to download it but I'm a bit nervous because it's apparently under management review (and I think I know why) 😓

Robenicks @robenicks.bsky.social · 01/10/2026

(Technically, I have to do the game update itself but I figure this was progress enough to celebrate (aside from being in the game itself, which... well, I might want to wait for a certain thing I'm doing to be over first???))

Looks like I'll definitely fit in another sidetracking stream to finish off other stuff before the final dungeon, the chocobo racing stuff was too addicting for me lol I'll let you know when I get the schedule figured out.

Somehow, I'm still going. Going cuckoo for chocobos. Might be keeping streaming up 'til I get gold at this rate, so... twitch.tv/robenicks

One further update on vol.4: truth be told, it is coming somewhat close to the final possible date for submission, which is within the first week of October. Keeping in mind there is no set schedule for release by the artist, I remain confident that it will be completed in time and with quality.

I realize that I didn't actually post when I went live on Wednesday this week so I may do one more additional sidetracking stream to make up for it (depending on several factors), but I am confirming the final episode of FINAL FANTASY VII remembrance will be somewhere in the first week of October.

polymorphite Public Gameplay Demo has been updated to PGD 1.0.2, and has also been released on Steam! This version adds more QOL options and updates visuals and color schemes slightly for better visibility. Happy playing, and thanks for waiting! store.steampowered.com/app/4432100/...

Going to have to really consider asking my ISP about a replacement modem or something bc 2-3 disconnects a stream using a new device I've barely had for seven months is not acceptable. And that's without adding that the thing overheats if I don't have a fan running beside it 24/7.

000

Robenicks @robenicks.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

I've actually met a couple of Global BC's personalities growing up: once at a school fair I was taken to by my gran, and another was covering practice sessions at a local arena just before the 2010 Olympics (IIRC the Russian figure skaters sans the well known ones and the Japanese speed skaters)

010

Robenicks @robenicks.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

When DST ends on November 1st this year, (most of) BC will not be "falling back" and will permanently remain on summer time. So, since PCT is technically already in effect at this point I figure it's probably better to get used to it now. Thanks for your understanding.

000

Robenicks @robenicks.bsky.social · 23/09/2026

[ANNOUNCEMENT] Due to timekeeping amendments in my home province, I will be adopting the use of "British Columbia Pacific Time" (PCT / UTC +7hr) in the use of my stream schedule, instead of the current Pacific Standard / Daylight Time.

I'll be saving any further thoughts and considerations about what's next for my Twitch channel until after credits roll on FFVII. Until then, I hope that you will join me for this final "remembrance"...

Robenicks @robenicks.bsky.social · 22/09/2026

Officially on what is technically disc 3 now, which means that "Final Fantasy VII remembrance" will soon be coming to an end. I'll be dedicating at least one or two streams for tying up sidequests and optional stuff (not *everything* but a decent amount) before moving to the final challenge.

Robenicks @robenicks.bsky.social · 21/09/2026

Of course, I am planning to continue streaming my FFVII playthrough on Twitch this week, though it will be Monday (today) and WEDNESDAY due to work shifting me around slightly. See you this evening! twitch.tv/robenicks

It's been a few months but the thing happened where I was watching a YouTube vid and my computer locked up again. Sound cuts out, lose mouse and KB response and have to hard power off the PC. Really hope this isn't going to be an annoying thing again...
