@timlanning.bsky.social just listened to latest episode of dear internet. Also been reading Omniscient Reader. Latest stuff is little confusing but still fun. Have you seen The Gamer on webtoon? Maybe not quite the same genre but kind of adjacent and the protagonist gets video game based powers.

Just saw Wonka. Wasn't expecting a lot. I saw the reviews from critics and audiences were pretty high, so I was expecting it to be decent, but that movie was so much better than it had any right to be. I loved the music and story and everything else about it. Not even a big fan of musicals normally

I about had an existential crisis because I started thinking about the fact that I'm stuck in a job I've hated for 9 years that I will probably have to keep for 20+ more years to retire.
